Applications for enrolment into Prep to Year 6 at Augusta State School for 2027 will be accepted from 7am on Tuesday 28 July 2026. Our Enrolment Management Plan stipulates that all students who reside within the local catchment area or children who have a sibling currently enrolled and attending Augusta State School and who are eligible for enrolment in the educational program offered by the school have a right to enrolment at the school. Details of our Enrolment Management Plan can be located here.Our catchment area is reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in the local community infrastructure (e.g. roads, residential development, buildings etc.). We ask that all families who intend applying to enrol a child at Augusta in 2027, complete an Application for student enrolment form on or after 7:00am on Tuesday 28 July 2026. Families eligible for enrolment will be contacted in semester two to confirm an enrolment interview. Parents will need to provide the following documentation at the enrolment interview:
Families who do not have a child currently enrolled at Augusta, and who reside outside the school's local catchment boundary who apply for enrolment at the school will be put on a waiting list in order of receipt of application. If positions are available, offers to families on the waiting list may continue to be made up to and after the first day of school in 2027, until class numbers are finalised. We currently offer a Walk and Talk with one of our Deputy Principals. This gives families the opportunity to have a tour of the school and ask questions.

Families wishing to participate in a Walk and Talk are asked to meet the Deputy Principal at the main entrance at 3pm.
